Happy Winter, Raritan River Music Family!
2017 was a wonderful year for Raritan River Music and the community we continue to serve. Our musical and cultural enrichment programs reached patients at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, residents at Country Arch Care Center, clients of the Hunterdon Senior Center, and school children throughout the region.
The 28th Raritan River Music Festival presented amazing musicians from South America, Asia, and throughout the USA, in performance here in western New Jersey. The concerts were highlighted on radio/media stations WWFM.org, WDIY.org, and WDVR.org, and were the subject of feature articles in The Star-Ledger, Morning Call, NJ.com, and Courier News. Local elementary and high school students were again invited to open every concert with their exciting, brand new compositions.
All of this is possible ONLY through your generous support!
Please help us match the incredible $9,000 grant from the Augustine Foundation with your donation today. We also invite you to learn about making contributions of stock, estate planning, and employer matching funds.
And please mark your calendars for every Saturday in May 2018, for festival concerts featuring musicians from Norway, Hollywood (including the oboe-playing author of the hit book and TV show, Mozart in the Jungle), Germany, and other international musical hot spots!
Wishing you a healthy, happy, and musically enriching New Year,
- Laura Oltman & Michael Newman, Founding Directors
