The Grand Canyon Music Festival, founded by Bonfiglio and Hoffman, was an early inspiration to begin the Raritan River Music Festival. They return to Raritan River with special guest performers for a program that will highlight music by young composers from the Navajo and Hopi Nations, plus music by Black, Hoover, and others inspired by natural beauty. Called “the Paganini of the Harmonica” by The Los Angeles Times, harmonica virtuoso Robert Bonfiglio has dazzled audiences at Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, Teatro Amazonas, Kennedy Center, Boston Symphony Hall, Lincoln Center, and on CBS Sunday Morning and Live with Regis and Kathy Lee. Award-winning flutist Clare Hoffman has been at the top of the New York music scene – orchestras, Broadway, film scores, chamber music, festivals – for 40 years.
